My personal experiences and needs led to the creation of ValueOne!

During my 30 years in various management and line positions – as Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager, and Head of Operations and Supply Chain – I often found that the services I purchased did not always meet my expectations in every aspect.

When I needed to recruit new talent or find qualified interim and resource consultants, I experienced that the established recruitment and staffing companies did not always understand all the dimensions of what I was looking for.

Even with clearly defined role descriptions, I often found myself doing much of the work as a client. Fundamental selection tasks, such as screening and profile evaluation, became my responsibility whenever I needed to hire a new employee or consultant.

When it came to more advanced consulting services – for example, when I wanted to explore new ideas or methods – I felt there was a lack of partners with the necessary operational experience. There were many good alternatives focused on strategy and best practice, but few with real line management backgrounds and the ability to drive change and implementation processes that actually deliver results.

My observations about what was missing in the services I purchased were confirmed time and again by peers in my network, and over time, this became the foundation of ValueOne. I wanted to offer the market relevant services based on my own real experiences and needs.

I had also long dreamed of running my own company – one built on my own insights and values, with full accountability for both delivery and results.

That’s why, with great pride, more than ten years after our founding, I can say that my initial vision matched the needs of the market. In 2009, a competent, accessible, and agile company was born – delivering services at both strategic and operational levels within Supply Chain Management – a company I chose to call **ValueOne**.
