Logistics System Manager
ValueOne is recruiting a Logistics System Manager for our customer Metsä Tissue AB in Mariestad. As Logistics System Manager you will be a part of the operation and development of the Future Mill in Mariestad. This is a brand-new position in Metsä Tissue where you will be offered great possibilities to influence and create the content in this position and the future way of working.

The role
As a Logistics System Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the logistics process and its development, including Automated High Bay Storage (HBS), LGV fleet management, dispatch, control room operations and Logistics Operators support. You are part of the Operations team and report into the VP Operations in Sweden. Initially you will collaborate closely with the investment project team, Project Vänern, and relevant stakeholders.
Main tasks:
- Manage various types of digital support systems to ensure the process aligns with the production and logistics chain.
- Analyze different data to identify possible improvements within the logistics process.
- Analyze the integration between various digital management systems.
- Drive continuous improvements and lead, participate, and utilize RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
- Optimize the process to achieve departmental goals and create conditions to minimize internal logistics costs.
Experience and Competencies
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or another relevant field. You should have experience working with logistics flows and be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additionally, we prefer you to have experience of automated warehouses. The ideal candidate will be structured, process-driven, results-oriented and analytical. You should be motivated by driving changes and process work, possess good communication skills, and have strong teamwork abilities. Furthermore, you should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be stress resistant. Experience with ERP systems and good IT skills are also required.
