Supplier Quality Engineer
On behalf of our customer in southern Stockholm ValueOne is now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) specializing in electronics/electromechanics. The assignment is preferably filled as soon as possible. Our customer’s clear intention is to offer a permanent employment after an initial consultancy assignment.

The role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you play a crucial role in influencing customer satisfaction and meeting customer expectations. Our customer is looking for a person who can touch ground running, supporting with typical work tasks for an SQE specializing in electronics/ electromechanics with a clear focus on PCBA’s.
Main tasks:
- Approving and declining PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Approving or disqualifying suppliers based on quality.
- Deciding on quality assurance activities, both internal and external for supplier parts.
- Changing and updating SQE processes in the BMS (Business Management System).
- Stopping production according to the production stop process.
Experience and competencies
The ideal SQE candidate should have a background in automotive industry and as consequence sit on a developed toolkit when it comes to project management methods, industry standards and quality management systems. As SQE at our customer you also need to possess an advanced knowledge of well-established manufacturing and production processes as well as a solid ability to perform supplier audits.
Candidates applying for this position should possess an MSc degree in Engineering or have gained the right experience from many years in a similar position at a manufacturing company in the automotive industry. Fluency in English, verbally and written, is a must. Swedish is strongly meritorious.
Key professional behaviors include excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with operators and managers at both operational and strategic levels, as well as external suppliers. The role also demands comfort with enforcing quality standards at suppliers, meticulousness in supply quality control, initiative, independence, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
