Quality Engineer
ValueOne is looking for a Quality Engineer for a consultant assignment at our customer´s premises in Gothenburg. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible and runs for eight months.

The Role
In this role, you will play a critical part throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception through to production. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the APQP process within cross-functional engineering teams and ensuring that all project deliverables meet customer product requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
Main tasks:
- Running the APQP process in cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
- Planning and executing activities necessary to meet PPAP requirements, including MSA and capability studies.
- Defining and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the production environment, focusing on technical cleanliness, traceability, and compliance with industry standards.
Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Engineering and has significant experience in quality management within a production environment. You should have knowledge of technical cleanliness standards according to VDA 19 and be familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS) as per ISO9001 and/or IATF 16949. Proficiency in the APQP and PPAP processes in line with AIAG standards, as well as a solid understanding of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), equipment calibration, and statistical process control, is essential. You should also have expertise in problem-solving methods and tools, including 8D and Six Sigma (Green Belt level). Excellent English skills, both written and oral, are required. Experience with Minitab and Jira is preferred, and additional language skills, particularly Swedish, would be advantageous.
As a person, you are structured, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. You have the ability to solve complex problems under pressure and can efficiently sort and prioritize tasks.
