Project Industrialization Manager

The Role

As Project Industrialization Manager you will manage high-complexity projects with significant business impact and support teams in applying project management expertise. You will be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry. 

Main tasks:

  • Design, communicate and implement operational plans for engineering-based projects in manufacturing and industrialization.
  • Prepare designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities and equipment.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan, taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identify, develop, and gather the necessary resources to complete the project.
  • Prepare engineering standards, designs and work specifications; develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts. Also, select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
  • Manage large projects or end-to-end processes with limited oversight from the manager.
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
  • Address and solve complex and difficult problems.
  • Support teams in applying project management expertise.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Experience and Competencies

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in industrialization project management. A certification in project management is highly desirable. The candidate should have extensive experience in the manufacturing and automotive industries, along with strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
