About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Head of Supply Chain & Sourcing to lead and transform a multi-site supply chain into a strategic, lean, and resilient function. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving operational excellence, supplier performance, and cost leadership across our production network and global supplier base.
You will define and implement the supply chain strategy across our production sites, lead global sourcing initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering innovation and sustainability.
The role is remote/hybrid within Europe and reports to COO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a supply chain & sourcing strategy across our production sites.
- Coordinate the strategy & action with people at same position from other divisions within the group.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiations.
- Drive ERP utilization for procurement, planning, and supplier collaboration.
- Manage supply risk through dual sourcing, scorecards, and contingency planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
- Lead and mentor purchasing teams across entities.
- Ensure supplier compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Your Profile

You are also skilled at communicating financial information clearly to all stakeholders and a team player who values involvement, development, and recognition.
Further you have the following experience and competence:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Have 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain leadership in industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of lean supply chain principles (JIT, Kanban, value stream mapping).
- Proven track record in managing complex international supply networks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, Polish, or Chinese) are a plus.

Travel & Location
