ValueOne is looking for a Procurement Manager to the transportation technology industry for an interim consulting assignment. The role is based in Stockholm and is set to begin in October 2026. The assignment runs for 12 months, with a workload of 50%, and there is a possibility that the assignment may transition into a permanent position with the client.
About the role
As Procurement Manager, you will take a leading role in driving strategic procurement within the transportation technology sector, with a particular focus on Medium- and Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles and Trailers. This is a high-impact position where you will shape category strategies, build supplier partnerships, and enable the execution of a forward-looking electric mobility strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of category strategies for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles and Trailers in close collaboration with Commercial, Operations, and Finance stakeholders
- Drive Source to Contract activities, including supplier identification and selection, negotiation, and contract lifecycle management
- Develop and manage a sustainable, scalable, and high-performing supply network to support the transformation of electric and autonomous transport
- Lead major cost-out initiatives and tenders, including those supporting new market entry, through cross-functional project teams
- Develop and drive supplier relationship management and performance management in collaboration with Operations and Finance to ensure end-to-end value creation
- Work cross-functionally with leaders across the organisation to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly
- Manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective strategy development and execution
Experience and skills
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in global procurement and category management, ideally with a background in the automotive or transportation industry, strong expertise in CAPEX procurement and contract law, and proficiency in English. Experience with complex data analysis, Source to Contract processes, and stakeholder management at all levels is required.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven and result-oriented professional with proven cross-functional leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the confidence to operate at a high level within a highly competent and fast-paced organisation.
