The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible. The estimated contract duration is currently under review and will depend on the development of the situation at the supplier.
The supplier is currently facing challenges related to production commitments and production planning. The consultants will support the supplier on-site with a strong focus on production execution, daily follow-up, and ensuring that planned production is realized for the client scope.
The two consultants will work in different shifts, with one consultant covering the afternoon shift and one covering the night shift.
About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you will work on-site at an automotive manufacturing supplier in the Silesia region of Poland.
Your main responsibility will be to support the existing on-site team by conducting Gemba activities and closely following up production realization against the production plan for the client scope.
This is a hands-on operational role for an experienced professional who is comfortable working close to production and taking action when deviations occur.
You will work closely with the supplier’s production and operational teams to identify deviations, understand the reasons behind them, follow up on corrective actions, and help ensure that production commitments are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular Gemba activities and follow up production directly on the shop floor.
- Monitor actual production versus the production plan for the client scope.
- Identify deviations, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and other issues affecting production output.
- Proactively follow up with production teams when planned output is not achieved.
- Support the identification and implementation of corrective actions.
- Follow up on production performance and recovery activities.
- Escalate critical deviations and risks affecting production commitments.
- Provide regular status updates on production realization, risks, and recovery actions.
- Support the existing on-site team in maintaining operational control and ensuring production commitments are followed up.
- Work outside regular office hours as required by the assigned shift and operational situation.

Consultant Profile
This assignment is intended for an experienced independent consultant or subcontractor who can quickly integrate into an automotive production environment and take an active role on the shop floor.
We are looking for someone who is senior enough to challenge, follow up, and drive action, but who is also willing to work hands-on with the production organization rather than operating solely at a strategic level.
