About the Assignment
ValueOne is currently looking for an experienced Senior Production Planner for an on-site assignment at an automotive supplier in the Silesia region of Poland, supporting an important client within the automotive industry.
The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible. The estimated contract duration is currently under review and will depend on the development of the situation at the supplier.
The supplier is currently facing challenges related to production commitments and production planning. The assignment focuses on strengthening production planning and ensuring that production requirements are translated into a robust and executable production plan.
We are looking for a senior planning professional who can quickly take ownership of the planning activities and contribute to stabilizing production and delivery performance.
About the Role
As a Senior Production Planner, you will be responsible for production planning activities dedicated to the client’s production scope.
You will work closely with production, logistics, materials, and other operational stakeholders to ensure that production plans are realistic, properly prioritized, and aligned with customer requirements.
The role requires a strong understanding of production planning across multiple flows, as well as experience working within Tier-N supply chain environments.
This is a hands-on assignment in a demanding operational environment where the ability to identify risks, prioritize activities, and quickly react to changes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Take ownership of production planning activities for the assigned client scope.
· Develop, maintain, and follow up production plans based on customer requirements and available production capacity.
· Coordinate planning activities across multiple production flows.
· Monitor production plan realization and identify deviations at an early stage.
· Identify capacity constraints, material risks, bottlenecks, and other factors affecting production performance.
· Work closely with production, logistics, materials, and supply chain stakeholders to resolve planning-related issues.
· Prioritize production requirements based on customer needs and operational constraints.
· Support recovery planning when production commitments are at risk.
· Ensure effective communication of changes, risks, priorities, and recovery plans to relevant stakeholders.
· Contribute to improving planning processes and overall production stability.
· Support the supplier in establishing and maintaining reliable planning routines.
· Provide regular reporting and status updates regarding production planning and potential risks.
Required Qualifications
· We are looking for a senior production planning professional with solid experience from automotive manufacturing and complex supply chain environments.
· Several years of experience within Production Planning.
· Experience working with multiple production flows.
· Experience from Tier-N planning / multi-tier supply chain environments.
· Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and material availability.
· Experience working in automotive manufacturing, preferably within a Tier 1 supplier or OEM environment.
· Experience managing planning challenges and production recovery situations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· A structured and proactive approach.
· The ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Language Requirements
· Fluent Polish – mandatory
· Fluent English – mandatory

Consultant Profile
This assignment is intended for a senior production planning professional who can quickly take ownership of planning activities and operate effectively in a challenging automotive manufacturing environment.
