ValueOne is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer for an interim assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Västerås. It is a six-month assignment that starts at the end of November. There is a possibility for an extension or permanent employment by the client after completion of the assignment.

About the role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will help maintain and improve production quality at the company, ensuring processes meet defined standards, targets and KPIs. The role combines hands-on resolution of quality issues with cross-functional improvement work across Production, Production Engineering, Supplier Quality and R&D.
Main tasks:
- Monitor, analyse and report production quality parameters
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analyses and report findings to R&D and Production Engineering
- Manage production deviations in SAP and participate in the Andon process to resolve issues efficiently
- Initiate and lead Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects.
- Support Production Engineering in developing PFMEAs and Control Plans
- Initiating production or delivery stops when necessary to protect quality
- Perform internal audits and support customer-related quality matters and production projects
Experience
The ideal candidate has substantial practical experience in quality management within production or an industrial environment, with proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, root cause analysis and deviation management. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
The person we are looking for is analytical and solution-oriented, able to lead improvement initiatives independently while balancing urgent issues with long-term goals. Integrity, clear communication and effective collaboration across functions and with suppliers and customers are essential.
